We all know about how ranger's expertise lowers the cost of the rituals, and we know a primary ritualist could be more effective with the spirits once they are out

Question then which be better? I think for damage the ranger would win, but the ritualist seems to beast in ultilies for the team, massive healing its own type of rez, it seems like a remixed monk that could do crazy damage with lighting.

I think it will also depend on your second class, i found zecro to be an alright secondary even though i ran into some energy mangement with bone feinds

mesmer seemed to work out better though, you could easly heal yourself and take some energy away with either feast, plus 1 or two interupts, like the one that drains around 17 energy, which is cool against really low energy oppenents.

rit/a didnt go to well, i was probly just bad at it but they didnt seem to go together as a class combo

weird things which i havnt seen or figured out yet, not sure who has, is how a mesmer would work on a ritualist, yea you could drain all their energy but i am not sure if they can use their interupts since the rituals arn't spells, they may be considered skills idk,

its good and bad they arnt considered spells i think simplu put fast casting be great but for all non-primary mesmer you would get interupted like everytime

ri/mo shocked me, i thought the spirits were still considered creatures so heal area doesnt work on them, i dont think other heal spells work either, except like the few ritualist ones, it still i guess could be alright combo if your task is to help heal and yet keep up some damage. although without divine favor the energy used may not be too effective, when i checked my energy off the pve lvl 20 it was only about 45 even with the pre=order pack staff

which makes me still lean toward a mesmer secondary

One last thing, i dont know how much of the "holding ashes" ill do since it counts as one of those like huge bulky quest "items" where it takes both your arms to hold it which i dont like too much...
